Peer Review.

Hand painted and digital prints on A2 board.
Today was our peer review session. I placed my work onto two A2 boards to present them. Then in groups we had to go around looking at each others work thoroughly , writing notes on Sketchbook development, colour, presentation, selection and composition. I found this really helpful looking at others works , it was good to see what was being done and how people were interpreting the project in different ways. My feedback was good they said that my drawing was good and key to the base of my project. They also said my colour strip was interesting as it had a wide range of colours which will inevitably make my whole collection a lot more exciting. They said I did need to annotate my work more which I agree with, thus making my ideas a lot clearer. They said I should also use artists and designers that relate to my work. I have already began to look at the work of Holly Fulton as I feel the graphic aspect of her collection is similar to mine. The group critiquing my work mentioned the fact that not all of my screen prints have the same mood as my colour strip so I am going to look into this deeper, and try harder to keep in with the mood I want my collection to be.
