When in Newcastle I visited the Baltic Art Gallery, I came across Simon Bill's work it reminded me of the petri dishes structure and patterns we had previously looked at. I like various use of media , the light watercolours but also the thick layering of paint. I feel we could use these techniques if we wanted to recreate similar petri dish structures and patterns.
